What we collect

Your identification and contact details (name, email, phone), your appointment details and, during your follow-up, the health data needed for your medical file.

Why we collect it

To schedule your appointment, send you confirmations and reminders, and provide your medical follow-up. Legal basis: Article 9(2)(h) – health care provision.

How long we keep it

Your medical file is kept for at least 30 years from your last contact with the practice, as required by Belgian law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, and restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to object and the right to data portability. The right to erasure applies within the limits of the law: your medical file must be kept. You may withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as it was given; this withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out, nor processing that relies on another legal basis, such as properly managing appointments already booked (legal basis: health care, see above). To exercise these rights, email the practice; we will respond within one month.

Who processes your data

Your data is hosted and transmitted by our technical providers (hosting and email) acting as processors under contract. We never sell your data to third parties.

Updates to this notice

We may update this privacy notice; the version shown here before confirming a booking is always the most recent one.

Governing law

This notice is governed by Belgian law.

You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian supervisory authority, the Data Protection Authority (APD/GBA), www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
